About Me

Hi, I’m Marge and food has always been how I experience a place.

For two and a half years, I lived in the south of France, where the rhythm of life revolves around the table. Morning markets overflowing with seasonal produce, long lunches that stretch into the afternoon, and the kind of simple, honest cooking that makes you wonder why you ever complicated things. Living in Nice changed the way I cook and spending time across Provence, from village restaurants to sun-drenched wineries, deepened that love even further.

Now back in Washington DC, I’m bringing those recipes home. The dishes I made in my French kitchen, the ones I learned from chefs and friends along the way, and the flavors I fell in love with across the Riviera and Provence. Alongside those French classics, I share longtime favorites that have earned a permanent spot in my rotation, and I call out the restaurants and wineries I love in Provence, on the Côte d’Azur, and back home in DC.

Table Travels is about cooking and eating with a sense of place. Every recipe here comes from somewhere – a market in Nice, a winery afternoon in Provence, a meal I couldn’t stop thinking about. I hope it brings a little of that feeling to your kitchen too.

Welcome to my table.
